Like all UK Credit Unions, Tay Valley Credit Union is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulation Authority.   Our Firm Reference Number (FRN) is 213821 and you can see us on the Financial Services Register by clicking here

Tay Valley Credit Union must comply with all statutory regulations and submit regular reports to the PRA. All volunteers and staff involved in the running of the Credit Union must be approved under the PRA Approved Persons policy.

A volunteer Supervisory Committee performs an internal audit function throughout the year and ensures the Board of Directors continue to meet their compliance responsibilities. We are required to be audited each year by an external qualified auditor who reports to the members at the Annual General Meeting.
