Identification Requirements

We are legally required by the Financial Conduct Authority to verify the identity of all new members.  When submitting your application form to join TVCU please submit any TWO of the documents listed below:

• Driving Licence
• Bank Statement
• Utility Bill
• Passport
• Credit Card Statement 
• Benefit / Allowance Letter
• Addressed DWP Correspondence.
• Addressed Inland Revenue Correspondence

We will accept photocopies of documents but we reserve the request original documents if required to meet our statutory obligations. Please note that original documents such as passports/driving licences will be returned to the applicant by recorded post.

Common Bond Requirements

We are required to confirm that you are employed by one of the Local Authorities within our common bond.  This can be done by including a copy of your most recent payslip or copy of employment contract/letter when joining the credit union.
