Cancellation Rights

Membership

Members have the right to cancel their membership with the Credit Union, without penalty within fourteen days of their membership application being processed. However, membership of the Credit Union is voluntary and your account can be closed at any time, providing no debts are outstanding. To cancel membership, please contact the Credit Union office.

Loans

Members have the right to cancel their loan agreement with the Credit Union, without penalty, within 14 days of their loan being processed and the funds paid out. To cancel your loan agreement within this period, please contact the Credit Union office. Written confirmation of cancellation must be received within five working days of the initial cancellation request. The loan plus interest must be repaid in full. Interest runs from the day the loan is issued until the date of cancellation.
